Following a nationwide search for an online video star, ghd unveils the brands official Style Diarist. Through a series of step-by-step style videos to be uploaded over the next few months, Fabia Dos Santos will show urban angels how to create all the latest looks with ease using her ghd IV styler and prescribed products from the ghd Thermodynamics range.

These short videos will be uploaded over the next four months, one per month, for urban angels to watch, learn and achieve hair styling perfection.

Guests will receive star treatment as a team of ghd stylists create the season’s hottest hairstyles, and experts from Benefit complete the look with make-up makeovers. Once the style transformation is complete you will be led into a uniquely designed photography area where you will be able snap your own self-portrait photographs, capturing the memory on camera.

Entrance is completely free, however space is limited (and expected to be in high demand) so if you’d like to attend, please enter your details in the sign-up box to the right. One week before the event in each region, we will randomly select our VIP’s from the sign-ups. And because we know girls love to share, you’ll be able to bring along four of your best friends too!

Taking place in Cape Town, guests will explore living fashion scenes and installations spread across the interior and grounds of an historic Cape building. Each scene tells a story of passion, unravelled mysteries and revelations.

The performance is the first of its kind in South Africa and follows in the tradition of our spectacular collaborations with creative talents across the globe, including designer shows at New York, London and Australian fashion weeks. As well as exploring the secrets of the building we’ll also be offering a behind the scenes glimpse of the artistry involved in creating high fashion hair and make-up (there will also be a rather nice goodie bag and the delightful House of Krone will be providing drinks) .

If you’re not in Cape Town we’ll be running our pop-up salon, the ghd style lounge, later in the year so hopefully we’ll see you there.
